1、近年來，私立大學蓬勃發(fā)展，已成為高等教育不可缺少的一部分。觀其優(yōu)點，開設(shè)專業(yè)均是社會急需的技能型專業(yè)；究其缺點，師資力量薄弱以及生源質(zhì)量下降。其中有一個普遍現(xiàn)象就是學生英語基礎(chǔ)較差，學習積極性不高，使得大學英語課堂難以有效開展。本研究采用任務型教學法在廣西的一所私立高校一邕江大學開展大學英語教學，以期探索出一條能夠促進此類大學學生英語學習的路子。
本實驗基于建構(gòu)主義理論，對實驗班采用任務型教學法進行教學，在控制班則用傳統(tǒng)的
2、PPP教學法教學，然后對兩個班的英語學習情況進行對比分析。參與研究的對象是邕江大學2011級的大一學生，他們來自兩個不同的班級。其中，實驗班共54名學生，控制班則有40名學生。實驗采用定量分析和定性分析兩種手段。研究過程所收集的資料包括調(diào)查問卷，學生訪談和考試以及教師對學生觀察的記錄。其中，問卷調(diào)查和考試收集到的數(shù)據(jù)用Excel2003進行描述與分析。對于訪談及觀察學生所獲取的數(shù)據(jù)進行定性處理，旨在補充說明定量研究的結(jié)果。研究結(jié)果顯示：
